Regardless of origin, each piece is chosen solely based on the taste and style of the Gambirasio DNA.

Khmer busts are remarkable sculptures dating back to the Khmer Empire (9th-15th century), with their peak during the reign of Angkor. Made primarily of sandstone or bronze, these busts depict deities, kings, and spiritual figures associated with Hinduism and Buddhism, which coexisted in Khmer art and culture.

The paintings depicting Chinese dignitaries from the mid-19th century are significant examples of Qing Dynasty portrait art. These portraits, known as "ancestral portraits," were commissioned to honor and commemorate high-ranking officials and prominent members of society. Characterized by a frontal and static representation of the subject, these paintings emphasize clothing and ornaments, symbols of the dignitary’s rank and social status. The meticulous details of the garments, such as official robes and headpieces, along with the understated backgrounds, reflect the importance attributed to social position and adherence to tradition.

During the second half of the 20th century, with the evolution of the Japanese art and craft market, many of these screens were created using mixed techniques, combining ink painting on paper or silk with gold or silver leaf details. Some examples depict suspended kimonos, almost as if displayed in an elegant boutique, while others portray women in traditional or abstract settings.

The Biedermeier style emerged in Austria and Germany between 1815 and 1848. While it was undoubtedly influenced by the French Empire style and the English Regency, after the Napoleonic Wars, Biedermeier developed as a movement favoring simplicity and elegance. It is believed that local cabinetmakers, rather than prestigious workshops, created these pieces to cater to the prosperous middle class.

Khmer stone heads are among the most iconic works of sculpture from the Khmer Empire (9th–15th century), renowned for the creation of Angkor Wat and other grand temple complexes in Cambodia. These sculptures often depict Hindu and Buddhist deities, divine kings (Devaraja), and mythological figures, reflecting the art and spirituality of the period.

Today, Khmer stone heads are highly sought after by collectors, and many are preserved in museums worldwide. However, the illicit trade of these artifacts has led to increased efforts in protecting Cambodia's cultural heritage.

Star Kazak rugs featuring dragon motifs are among the rarest and most sought-after Caucasian carpets. These rugs originate from the Karabakh region in the southern Caucasus and date back to the mid-19th century. The dragon is a rather uncommon decorative element in Caucasian rugs, symbolizing power and protection. It is often stylized in geometric forms, sometimes accompanied by phoenixes or other zoomorphic symbols. The name Star Kazak comes from the star motif frequently found in their design.

The male holds a sphere under his paw, symbolizing dominion over the world, while the female protects a cub, representing care and the continuity of the family. Considered auspicious talismans, Foo Lions are believed to ward off evil spirits and bring prosperity. Over time, their common name has shifted from "Foo Lions" to "Foo Dogs."
